We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter who is available for 24 hours per week on a rota basis.

Bridgewood Manor Hotel and Spa is located in Chatham, Kent,
is a charming and inviting retreat set amidst tranquil surroundings. The hotel is
furnished with comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms and has a reputable
restaurant that serves a mix of contemporary and classic British cuisine. Our
six function rooms, cater for corporate events, conferences, and weddings and
the spa is available for a range of treatments designed to rejuvenate and
relax. Facilities include a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and a fully

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN PORTER AT OUR HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
1. Keep the kitchen running smoothly by cleaning and organising equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
2. Wash and sanitise pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen tools, making sure everything is ready for the next dish.
3. Help with basic food prep tasks, like peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients, to support the chefs during busy shifts.
4. Manage waste by disposing of rubbish, recycling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
5. Keep storage areas stocked, organised, and clean, ensuring supplies are easy to find and ready to use.
6. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, helping to keep the kitchen stocked and organised.
7. Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards rigorously, contributing to a safe and spotless kitchen.
