Job Description
Currently looking for a Facilities Assistant to work for a leading service provider to Represent Kent Police as a first point of contact for members of the public, this will include giving and receiving information, dealing with enquiries and complaints, and offering advice and guidance as appropriate. Undertake general clerical and support duties to ensure the provision of an efficient, effective and timely service to the people of Kent.
Responsibilities
1. Represent Kent Police as first point of contact.
2. Operate Police computer systems according to Service guidelines
3. Receive and administer property.
4. To be responsible for the security, safety, and tidiness of the station reception office
5. Working hours will be 30 hours per week on a 7-day shift rota with the possibility of further hours when available.
6. Reports to Public Enquiry Officer Team Leader
Essential Qualifications/Skills
7. A good standard of education to GCSE A-C level (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics or experience to this standard are essential.
8. Diligent customer service attitude
9. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
10. Good IT skills (Training will be provided on Police systems)
11. Subject to vetting by Kent Police
