We are looking to appoint a friendly, motivated, enthusiastic and patient person who is passionate about supporting children to be the very best they can be. The position is for a Full time Teaching Assistant/1:1 Support Mon-Fri 8.45 am - 3.20pm - fixed term until 18/07/2025. The post includes a Lunchtime Assistant role from 12 - 1pm each day. The post of Teaching Assistant/1:1 support will involve working with our pupils with EHCPs including those with a diagnosis of autism and/or ADHD. Applicants would ideally have previous experience of working with children. A Level 2 NVQ qualification in Children’s Care or Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. Candidates must also be confident in English and Mathematics abilities; and hold at least a Grade C in GCSE English and Mathematics. Willingness to learn is important along with being able to apply clear boundaries and work as part of a team. Liaison with Teachers, Teaching Assistants and the SENCO is essential.
