SEN Primary Teacher, EARLY YEARS, KS1 OR KS2
08:30am – 16:00pm
Protocol Education are hiring for an SEN Primary Teacher to work within a school situated in Waltham Forest Area
This role requires QTS candidates to teach Primary-aged students with ASD and other Special Educational Needs.
The school prides itself on providing a high-quality learning environment, and teaching in a supportive manor whilst developing the potential of each pupil.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Planning and delivering Core Subject lessons in line with school policy and schemes of work.
2. Providing students with regular assessment and feedback to promote progress.
3. Building positive relationships with Teaching Assistants to create an outstanding and inspiring learning environment in the classroom.
4. Participating in departmental and staff meetings to share best practice.
To be successful in this Role you will need:

6. An Enhanced Child DBS that is on the Update Service.
7. An understanding of different types of SEN, and a range of effective teaching methods to suit different types of students and learning styles.
8. Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach engaging, informative, and challenging lessons.
9. A passion for education, and for allowing young people to become the best possible versions of themselves.
10. An ability to differentiate lessons to ensure each student can make regular and consistent progress.
11. A resilient and positive nature.
12. Experience with SEN is beneficial but not an essential requirement.
13. Enthusiasm, energetic, and a positive attitude.
