We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming partner school in Uxbridge, known for its inclusive environment tailored to each student’s unique learning journey.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and dedicated teacher with strong experience in GCSE Maths and/or BTEC Business to join our partner school’s team. This position carries lead responsibilities within the department, supporting curriculum planning and staff mentorship in addition to classroom teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, tailored lessons in GCSE Maths and/or BTEC Business, adapting material to meet diverse needs.
* Take on lead responsibilities in curriculum planning and development for Maths and Business.
* Mentor and support fellow educators, promoting best practice in SEND education.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Autism and complex needs.
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote students’ academic, personal, and social growth.
* Foster strong relationships with parents/carers to support each student’s journey.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Expertise in teaching GCSE Maths and/or BTEC Business, preferably within an SEND setting.
* A deep understanding of Autism and complex needs, with commitment to inclusive education.
* Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
* Leadership experience or potential to lead within an educational context.
