As a Recruitment Assistant to the Temps Division, you will play a pivotal part in filling temporary recruitment gaps for local businesses, ensuring new starters go to work with all the necessary checks complete, and that our existing portfolio of Temporary Workers have a point of contact to support them with all of their HR queries throughout their bookings.

This position can also be offered as a fully funded Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.
Responsibilities:
* Type professional CVs using Microsoft Word
* Send Terms of Business and other documents using standard letter templates
* Input high volumes of data onto the recruitment system
* Prepare application forms for new candidates
* Request references from businesses for past employees
* Make a high number of phone calls to chase reference requests
* Call applicants to book an appointment to meet with a Recruitment Consultant
* Assist with a busy and varied admin workload as required
Skills & Experience:
* Stable hospitality or retail customer service experience will also be considered
* Confident communication skills, happy to pick up the phone
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient keyboard skills
* GCSE or equivalent grades above a 6 or B in Maths and English essential
* Genuine desire to work hard to achieve great results, sometimes including longer hours
* Competitive by nature and hungry for success with a desire to build a career in the recruitment sector

Vacancy Summary:
