Job summary We are seeking a dynamic, forward thinking clinician to work in our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Department at Monnow Vale Health and Social Care Facility in Monmouth. We are searching for a physiotherapist with a solid foundation in core Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy clinical skills, who embraces innovation and is committed to utilising shared decision making and following evidence base in their clinical practice. Working within the musculoskeletal speciality you will be independently managing a musculoskeletal clinical caseload with the support of senior clinicians. You may be required to work flexibly to work across the Wye Valley and cover Chepstow Community Hopsital as demands and service needs require. Main duties of the job The physiotherapy team are experienced, supportive, and will facilitate and encourage your individual development. They are passionate about continuing to improve and develop services for our local population. You will work closely with the Administration team and alongside department colleagues. The ABUHB Physiotherapy Service encourages staff development through local and Health Board wide education including an extensive core and advanced skills training programmes. We also encourage participation in speciality forums, clinical audit, research and clinical supervision and mentoring. We have a structured personal appraisal system with annual reviews underpinned by the Knowledge and Skills Framework. You will be actively involved in assisting in the education and mentoring of rotational staff and physiotherapy students on placement from Cardiff University and the University of South Wales.
