We are well resourced with a newly created performance space and are looking to further increase the space for our Performing Arts facilities. Across the academy we have a very strong focus on staff development and training. The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant team that is characterised by excellence and a passion for the arts and, in this role, the Faculty Leader will have oversight, across the arts, of all aspects of curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment and extra-curricular provision and community liaison, supporting the Leadership team to ensure: a high quality cohesive curriculum;high standards of teaching and learning; excellent preparation, implementation of GCSE content and assessment, ensuring all pupils achieve their potential;a vibrant performing arts culture is embedded throughout the academy.The successful candidate will: be an innovative and dedicated classroom practitioner in the area of Music, with a record of raising standards and driving progress.
