Fixed Term 5.5 months (position is available from 1st December 2024) Part-time, 0.3FTE (10.5 hours per week) College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; Department of Clinical & Health Psychology; School of Health in Social Science The Opportunity: A unique short-term opportunity to contribute to clinical supervision, placement support, core teaching and service delivery at the Centre for Psychological Therapies and the MSc Psychological Therapies. The Centre for Psychological Therapies (CPT) is a vibrant initiative supporting research, training and knowledge exchange at the School of Health in Social Science. This post will join a group of experienced clinical psychologists and CBT Therapists. The post holder will provide clinical cover during the centre’s operational times including daytime and evenings. Some evening work may be required and flexibility will be appreciated. Your skills and attributes for success: Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Psychology, Nursing, Social Work) Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or post graduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (working towards accreditation as with BABCP as a CBT Therapist). Experience and expertise in CBT with children and young people (Desirable). Experience and expertise of supervising others using a CBT model (Desirable). Experience and expertise in delivery of teaching and training in CBT (Desirable). Minimum 5 years’ experience managing risk in a range of clinical settings (Desirable).
