Job Description Provide competent health and safety advice and guidance to elected members, managers and key partners operating in a proactive manner with autonomy and responsibility for the full range of Health, Safety and Wellbeing practise areas, including developing policies, strategies and initiatives and carrying out investigations, inspections and audits; and to identify and develop training in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value. The Individual This is a permanent full time post with an admin base of Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. The hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked as follows: Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm. The full time salary of the post is between £44,390- £47,083 per annum.
