Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to take the lead of the leg ulcer and lymphodema team at Tameside. This will involve acute and community working.
The post holder will take the leading role in the team management of a specialist nurse team to support case load oversight, assessment, planning and implementation of programs of care with all areas of Leg ulcer and Lymphedema.
The post holder will work independently within the Tissue Viability/Lymphoedema team/leg ulcer service working within community and hospital settings, providing specialist wound care advice, organising workload, team management, delegation of tasks, promoting clinical excellence with a specific focus on the assessment and management of all aspects of the Leg ulcer and Lymphoedema team. Exercising leadership and judgement to ensure safe clinical practice and high standards of care are maintained to meet service demand within the leg ulcer and lymphoedema team.
You will be working within an integrated department and be involved with the current changes and developments within the organisation.
