Peterson EV – Re-imagined Automotive Instruments
Peterson EV are seeking a Junior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to help with their ever-expanding order book of CANbus Automotive Instrument Products.
Peterson EV design analogue CANbus instruments for the automotive industry, with products and solutions to suit ‘Restomods’, Electric Vehicles and Classics Cars. Their innovative instruments can interface with any ECU, PDM/PDU or Electric Vehicle system, giving smooth and precise readouts of any vehicle parameter.
Looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team of engineers, you will play a key role in innovating dashboard solutions. With a keen eye for detail, you will like seeing your designs come to life in a short space of time in this dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
* Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g. CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, additive manufacture)
* Knowledge of materials selection and mechanical system design
* Hands-on approach, comfortable with assembling and testing designs
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Adaptability and a proactive approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
