Job summary An exciting opportunity has arose to join our expanding team working in the Northern Centre for Cancer Care, North Cumbria. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join the chemotherapy scheduling team in North Cumbria. If you have excellent communication, inter-personal and organisation skills we would like to hear from you. The post holder will join a busy team and will be a point of contact for patients and representatives attending for chemotherapy and responsible for the booking of SACT therapy across North Cumbria, working within waiting times. You must have excellent communication skills and be confident at communicating with patients who are facing a life limiting illness. You will need to be confident in communicating with all members of the multi-disciplinary team at all levels. You will need to be hard working and able to demonstrate the Trust Values within everyday work. Any experience of working with cancer patients and an understanding of cancer pathways is desirable and a minimum requirement of UK NVQ Level 3.
