This is a full-time or part-time, 12 months fixed term role with hybrid working, and a salary of £32,002 per annum.
Candidates desiring part-time hours equivalent to a minimum of 3 days a week will be considered, perhaps to accommodate school times, for example.
Though the post is initially fixed term for 12 months, the Borough would likely look to retain a high performing member of staff for a more expanded permanent technician role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Accountancy Technician to join our adults accountancy team.
The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic part or fully qualified AAT or equivalent individual to undertake the role of Accountancy Technician, helping to support the Directorate for Adult Social Care and Health, for at least 12 months.
You will report to the Adults Finance Business Partner, with day-to-day support from the team’s accountants.
Your role will involve:
The responsibilities of the post will include financial administration tasks, such as raising purchase orders and invoices, processing journals and uploading monthly budget virements. You may also be required to assist with budget monitoring and year end processes.
What we are looking for:
We require an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with both financial and non-financial colleagues. You will also possess good spreadsheet and analytical skills. An ability to manage your own diary and work to deadlines is also essential.
