The ideal candidate:
Our client is an exciting and ambitious company seeking to change the world of industrial and commercial equipment monitoring through providing advanced sensors that reveal valuable insights on any equipment that rely on oil for lubrication. They are seeking an ambitious, experienced and talented electronics production engineer who wants to take their career to the next level. You will oversee and manage the production of all our products by sub-contractors, new product introduction, production quality, production scheduling and stock control. This requires a deep understanding of PCA manufacturing, product assembly, production quality and logistics. The role:
Their products are electronics based and thus integrate complex PCA’s with connectors all assembled within robust mechanical housings. The role is to take ownership and control of the production of all our products by external sub-contractors based in the UK and Europe. To include the liaison with development to assist with design-for production, executing NPI with selected contract manufacturers and ensuring the highest product quality standards and availability of product in our warehouse ready to ship to customers worldwide. The role will encompass:
1. Managing the entire production process of all our products with our external contract manufacturers
2. Implementation and maintenance of production quality control and improvement systems
3. Liaise with our development team to assist with design for production as well as transfer of newly developed products into volume production
4. Management of warehouse logistics team to ensure stock control and on-time order fulfilment
5. Owning various elements of the company QMS to maintain ISO 9001 accreditation, including documentation creation of SOPs, COSHH, Risk Assessments
Key Skills and Experiences:
1. Previous experience of electronics production and or development project management – SMT, PCA assembly management and final product assembly and testing
2. Commitment to production, product and service quality
3. Attention to detail with an imperative to get tasks done
4. Great communicator and enthusiasm for success
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: up to - £100,000 per year

Experience:
1. 5 years (preferred) of Production Management (to include electronics and assembly) including Stock, Planning and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Order Fulfilment.
