English Teacher
Location: Northumberland
Salary: £120 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Temporary, with Potential for Permanent Placement
About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Northumberland. This is a rewarding opportunity for an educator who is passionate about literature, language, and student success. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of English in students and helping them achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Use innovative teaching methods to engage students in reading, writing, and critical thinking
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
* Experience teaching English at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students
* A thorough knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements
* A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people in their learning journey
