We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our friendly team based at our Tarmac Colchester Office. This role is commutable from Colchester, Tiptree, West Mersea, Clacton-on-Sea, Great Bentley, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Halstead, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
As the Internal Sales Coordinator you will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales support to your wider team, to which this role will not only provide this to your region but also the wider Tarmac group.
Other responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive):
* Keep updated with the product range and develop in-depth knowledge of the Tarmac Aggregate and Asphalt
* Supporting the raising and pricing of quotes that will process to order conversion or query resolutions
* Work with the team converting enquiries into orders, respond to sales calls and emails
* Demonstrate an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers
* Prioritise and multitask daily duties
* Understanding and assessing customer needs
* Represent the company and its core values
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
* Engage with the customer to better understand requirements
Please note: Due to the location of the site, you would have to be able to travel to the work location without the use of public transport
The Ideal Candidate
It is preferred that the successful candidate for the role of Internal Sales Coordinator will be experienced in the following:
* SAP, CRM and Microsoft IT systems
* Working collaboratively with the existing team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
* Showing a positive attitude, building rapport and positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues
* Being proactive to learn new skills and achieve your own personal goals, as well as business goals
In the role of Internal Sales Coordinator you will also have:
* Good interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Good oral and written communication
* Numeracy and analytical ability
Training will be provided for:
* Products, Procedures and our Computer systems
