Due to current and ongoing workloads, we're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable & hardworking Vehicle Technician to join our business in a permanent position.
Candidates must also have good communication skills, be flexible, have a positive attitude, and the motivation to complete all work required of them in a busy atmosphere, on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer.
* Carry out general vehicle maintenance and servicing; including MOT repairs, clutch/gearbox replacements, brakes, cambelts, timing chains, and general workshop activities.
Minimum Requirements:
* A minimum NVQ 2 or Equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance or proven experience.
* Your own tools.
* A minimum of 3 years workshop experience in our industry is necessary (with references).
* Experience in replacing timing belts/chains and clutches is a must.
* A Full UK driving licence.

* Good communicator with strong customer service skills.
* Able to use own initiative.
* Follow written & verbal instructions.
* Full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
The hours you would be expected to work are between 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime regularly available.
Salary will be based on experience.
