A secondment opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the Nairn, Aviemore Badenoch and Strathspey Community Mental Health team. The CMHT is part of the secondary services providing assessment and treatment packages for a range of service users aged between 18-65 years with complex mental health needs. This post is based in Nairn. The post holder will maintain a clinical case load and will work effectively in the multidisciplinary team to provide mental health assessments, treatment packages, group work and manage risk. This work will involve patients and their carers in the delivery of evidence based, recovery focused interventions. You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to high quality work as well as processing therapeutic and interpersonal skills. You should demonstrate a good standard of verbal and written communication skills. The post holder will work autonomously as well as within the MDT and other settings. You will provide advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients and relatives. A Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification currently featuring on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register is required and supervision will be provided by the team lead. A driving license is essential, and a pool car may be available, however applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
