As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils to bridge gaps in their learning and boost their confidence to re-engage in a school setting. Day to Day of the role: Support pupils with their learning activities in the classroom. Work collaboratively with teachers to tailor learning experiences to individual student needs. Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Encourage and support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Facilitate a safe and positive learning environment. Engage with pupils in a variety of educational settings, including one-to-one and group sessions. Monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Participate in training and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of five Level 2 qualifications, including English and Mathematics (GCSE or equivalent). Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and flexible approach to work.
