The Headteacher and School Business Manager wish to appoint an efficient, enthusiastic and highly motivated Afterschool Club Assistant, who can work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
As our Afterschool Club Assistant, you will take pride in ensuring the smooth running of the clubs by supporting the children in a healthy and structured way, contributing to the pupils' wellbeing as a key part of a wider team. You will have access to training and professional development opportunities to build key skills and have full working knowledge of the role.
We seek an enthusiastic individual to join our Extended School provision team, providing wraparound care outside school hours. You will engage children in fun and creative play-based activities, supervise their free play, model expected behaviour, and follow school policies and procedures when dealing with challenging behaviour. You will also provide a healthy tea-time snack, considering any dietary requirements of attending children.
The working hours are 13.75 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term-time only 38 weeks (plus 5 INSET DAYS):
Afterschool Club: 3.15pm - 6pm
