What you'll do The Sustainable Business Specialist will deliver our social value and environmental commitments and strategy for our large Public Sector customers and support the development of our wider sustainability strategy for Vodafone Business. You will be responsible for engaging key stakeholders in Vodafone Business and our business customers on sustainability reporting and programme delivery. You will report into the Sustainable Business team with matrix management from a Vodafone Business. Work across Sustainable Business and Service Management teams to deliver customers' social value plans and strategy with accountability for initiatives, monitoring and communications. Management of external partnerships and programme delivery supporting those with barriers to employment. Management of customer specific environment strategy and reporting including carbon emissions, energy, water and waste data. Key accountabilities: Work with partners to develop contract-specific carbon baseline assessment and implement measures to reduce emissions. Directly engage with our customers on strategy and delivery of shared objectives via workshops, presentations, face to face meetings. Support product and propositions teams to integrate sustainability into the commercial portfolio. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyse environmental and social data aligned to relevant social value frameworks, through comprehensive understanding of customers' businesses. Who you are Demonstrate experience within a Sustainability/Social Value/CSR role or relevant experience in Vodafone Business. Good understanding of Vodafone's Purpose agenda, our social and environmental issues and opportunities and social value frameworks including TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures) and UK Government's Social Value Model. Strong experience of project delivery and ensuring on time and in line with agreed deliverables. Strong experience of managing external partners (charity/non charity) and ensuring positive outcomes for all parties.
