You will be joining a busy, proactive team of brokers who specialize in Commercial Insurance.

Day to day
1. New business quoting, negotiating, broking, and administration - converting new business inquiries in line with, or in excess of, company targets.
2. Renewal negotiating, broking, and administration - converting renewal business in line with, or in excess of, company targets.
3. Midterm adjustments & administration.
4. Maintaining day-to-day compliance procedures for FCA regulation. Incoming and outbound call handling - new and existing clients.
5. Corresponding & communicating with clients and insurers.
6. Checking covers, warranties, endorsements to ensure that they are correct and in line with quotations provided.
7. Preparing market presentations for both new business and renewal reports. Attending client new business and renewal meetings.
8. Effectively manage individual diary.
9. Cross-selling other insurance products.
10. Credit control for clients.
11. Provide support to the department executives in accordance with office procedures.
12. Managing personal work workflow effectively and efficiently - reporting workflow to manager.
13. Maintaining a complete and comprehensive training record.
14. Sharing ideas or suggestions for business improvement with management.
15. Advising manager of any backlog in work in a timely manner.
16. Advising manager of any debt recovery problems or contentious issues in a timely manner.
