Job Summary
The primary aim of the Finance Business Partner role is to support the delivery of excellent customer service focused financial management services to the ICB. Part of a team of Finance professionals, responsible for the provision of an expert financial management service to a portfolio of directorates. In particular, key areas of service include:
1. Business Planning & Budget Setting
2. ICB Organisational Performance Management, Monitoring & Reporting
3. Contract planning, agreement, financial monitoring and reporting
4. To act as key financial link on a range of contracts
5. Contribute to the wider financial issues affecting the ICB.
6. Promote and enable service improvement and business growth.
To support the Senior Finance Business Partner and Finance Team in the provision of monthly reports, variance analysis, invoice validation and ledger input involved in the management of.
The post holder will support specific financial reporting for the month end timetable, ensuring that all deadlines and targets are met within their portfolio of responsibility which not only includes month end, but also year-end and audit responsibilities.
The post holder will assist to provide financial advice, support services and performance review reports across ICBs business activities.

* Knowledge of finance procedures, production of finance reports and information analysis
* Sound knowledge on use of sophisticated ledger system

* Previously worked in similar position within the public sector

* AAT qualified/CCAB part qualified or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
