A bit about the role...
Our Data Visualisation Consultants are responsible for delivering business-critical data applications to our major clients. This role focuses on leveraging Pyramid Analytics to design, develop, and deliver impactful dashboards and BI solutions.
You will collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and design insightful data visualisations while ensuring the backend data pipelines and models effectively support these outputs.
This position calls for experience in Pyramid Analytics and a broad understanding of data integration, data modelling, and cloud platforms.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing…
Data Visualisation Design & Development
* Design, develop, and implement actionable dashboards and BI reports using Pyramid Analytics.
* Build efficient data models that enable both visualisation outputs and ad hoc analysis for end users.
* Act as an evangelist for the solutions you create by delivering client-facing demos and training sessions.
* Communicate designs and concepts to stakeholders and internal teams to gain clarity and alignment.
Requirements Analysis
* Collaborate with the Delivery Director, client stakeholders, data visualisation consultants, and data engineers to understand data requirements and transform them into meaningful insights.
* Apply expertise in dashboard design processes, including wireframing and user experience design.
* Ensure outputs are practical, actionable, and tailored to end-user needs.
Data Quality and Validation
* Perform data validation checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the data.
Performance Optimisation
* Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimise dashboards for speed and user experience.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting
* Provide third-line support during project hyper-care periods, offering fine-tuning and end-user assistance.
Data Governance and Compliance
* Enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Documentation
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to support training, end-user onboarding, and project handovers.
Collaboration
* Work closely with the team to contribute to shared success and take on tasks outside your role as needed.
* Proactively raise any issues or challenges to the Delivery Director.
This role is for you if you have...
* 2+ years of experience working with data.
* Proven experience in Pyramid Analytics for data visualisation and analytics development.
* Good knowledge of data modelling and cloud data warehouse concepts.
* Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google Big Query).
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
