Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Waste Water Process Engineering. You'll play a vital role in every aspect of process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of process engineering within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle from feasibility to process commissioning, adding value through client-side support. Your Purpose:
1. Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
2. Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
3. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
4. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Set quality assurance standards in design.
6. Grow, develop and manage process engineering capability within the practice.
What you can bring:
1. Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
2. Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of process engineering considerations and their impact on project and operational risks.
4. Leadership of teams on programmes of work and/or major capital projects.
5. Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
6. Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations.

Rewards and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants with a default of 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy or sell that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
