An opportunity has arisen to join a leading specialist insurance organisation on a 12-month FTC basis, reporting to the Chief Governance Officer.
As the Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company complies with existing regulations and internal policy, as well as ensuring that all new regulatory development and requirements are incorporated into their policies and procedures.
In order to be considered for this exciting and challenging opportunity, you will have an Insurance Compliance background, which will naturally include a strong working knowledge of UK Compliance and Regulatory laws, plus knowledge of the FCA and PRA handbooks, with a particular emphasis on SMCR.
As you will be liaising with staff at all levels, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a flair for relationship building.
Some travel to other UK offices will be required from time to time as well as a possibility of travel overseas.
This is a hybrid role, so it can be partially based from home.
