Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist Rehabilitation at Girvan Community Hospital.
What you will do:
This role encompasses Physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a team of multidisciplinary staff in a general rehabilitation ward. You will also provide community physiotherapy as appropriate. With support, you will administer, develop and lead physiotherapy services as appropriate within rehabilitation inpatient, outpatients, and community.
Previous breadth of experience working within a range of services will be essential. This may include Care of the Elderly, Orthopaedics, Stroke, and Surgical.
You will work within a supportive and proactive multidisciplinary team. You will work largely independently within a wider physiotherapy team to deliver direct clinical care and develop rehabilitation services in Girvan Community Hospital and the wider Carrick locality.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. Pre-reg MSc/BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
2. Must have substantial and varied clinical experience with significant experience of working within a relevant specialty at an advanced level
3. Requires to have post graduate training in relevant specialty, or experience equivalent to a Masters Level. This would include inpatient and outpatient experience, and would also include membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Special Interest Groups
4. Current Health and Care Professions Council Registration
5. Evidence of excellence in clinical knowledge and skills.
Hours:
Up to 22.5 per week
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
