What the Job Involves This role involves working as part of a collaborative team at Llys Elian, a Centre for Dementia Services, where you will ensure a homely and supportive environment for residents. You will deliver practical and personal care, adhering to safe working practices. The responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication administration, meal preparation, and household tasks while ensuring resident safety and wellbeing. You will facilitate and engage residents in social and leisure activities, maintain clear records, and collaborate with families and other professionals to promote independence. You will also be expected to participate in training, apply health and safety practices, and contribute to service improvements. The role requires responsiveness to emergency cover needs, necessitating a local residence to meet shift demands promptly.
