A bit about what you will do...
This is an exciting and varied role where you will work closely
with various
divisions in the hotel and head office to directly support the commercial objectives of the hotel through effective marketing strategies in the appropriate
marketing channels. You will report jointly
to and work very closely with the Group Director
of Marketing & Communications and the hotel General Manager to support with executing the press and influencer plan, oversee and plan all photography and videography for the hotel and for 3rd parties as necessary. You will look after guest
and member communications and collateral. Digital and social media strategy, approval and input, as well as advertising management
and execution
* Guest communications &
collateral, including email marketing for database subscribers and
members.
* Social media strategy, approval & input to drive conversion (traffic to website), engagement and grow the
community.
* Advertising
management and execution. Building the budget and plans to drive awareness and ensuring adverts
and assets are created and distributed on time to the relevant publications.
* Food &
Beverage marketing and communications strategy and execution. Working
with relevant department to drive
awareness, website
traffic and bookings.
* Spa &
Wellness marketing and communications strategy and execution. Working with relevant department to drive awareness,
website traffic and bookings.
* Meetings, Events and weddings marketing and communications strategy and
execution. Working with relevant department to drive awareness, website traffic and bookings.
* Luxury travel marketing and communications strategy and execution to reach and attract the
right audiences for the hotel, including
but not limited to: luxury
traveller, couples, families, events audience, weddings, locals, wellness audience etc. Prepare media review
stays internally to ensure the journalists and influencers have the best possible stays, including making all reservations, informing the teams, preparing arrivals, doing
hotel tours, and following up to ensure the coverage is happening and that it is reported appropriately.
* Photography and videography
management. Ensure the hotel photography and videography is
up to date. Write
shot lists depending on hotel
and content needs, plan and oversee
shoot. Manage photography
and videography budgets. Gain Accor approval of images and oversee successful
loading of mages to all digital channels.
* Digital marketing input and overall
responsibility for all brand websites
and 3rd parties' websites.
* Quarterly,
monthly and weekly reporting across
all touchpoints for sharing with internal
stakeholders. Analysing results and pulling
relevant learning and insight to be shared as necessary.
* Ensure all the projects of the marketing team are
delivered on time and accurately,
taking responsibility for checking spelling, grammar and content
accuracy.
* Implement
Fairmont brand marketing strategies
at local level and work closely with Accor and Fairmont teams.
* Support to head office
marketing teams as and when required.
More about you...
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant
experience including luxury
market experience.
* Able to lead a team effectively while motivating and
driving performance to meet goals
and objectives.
* Educated to degree level
or relevant marketing
qualification.
* Exceptional
communication skills (verbal and written) and
the ability to deal with people
at all levels.
* Organised and self-motivated.
* Strong analytical skills
and data driven
thinking.
* Strong knowledge of social media and how to optimize the strategy, engagement and conversion.
* Exceptional eye for detail in line
with a luxury brand's expectations.
* Technical ability
to produce creative design material. Knowledge and experience
of Adobe Suite (In Design preferable), Canva or equivalent.
* Creative writing skills for promotions content,
website and brand collateral.
* Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft
Excel and Microsoft
Word.
