Credit Controller Location: Lydney Position: Part time – 22.5 hours / mornings, Permanent Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 FTE Our Client We are delighted to be working with this local manufacturing business, trading locally, nationally, and internationally. We currently looking for a dedicated Part-Time Credit Controller to join our client’s finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to bring their expertise in credit control to a part-time role within a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure outstanding debts are collected in a timely manner. Contact customers regarding overdue invoices through. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to resolve any payment issues or disputes. Reconcile customer accounts and handle payment queries. Maintain accurate records of all communication with customers regarding payments. Report on aged debt and payment trends to the finance team. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address any credit-related issues. Process credit checks for new customers and ensure compliance with credit terms. Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed. Key Requirements: You will be local to the area and happy to commute daily Proven experience in credit control. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers. Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. A good understanding of accounting software, preferably Sage and Microsoft Office (Excel).
