The role is accountablefor the end-to-end set up and maintenance of cohesive and integrated IT systems to effectively deliver the Twinings Quality and Food Safety strategy, essential to enable the correct functioning of the Q&FS systems and Twinings due diligence. It is an important role that drives, creates and implements fit for purpose end-to-end processes and IT applications to ensure safety, quality, legality, integrity and authenticity of our products
Key Responsibilities
* Develops a Q&FS IT systems strategy.
* Responsible for the set up and maintenance of a Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) IT Systems steering team.
* Establishes KPIs for projects and regularly reports on progress.
* Prepares and delivers business project updates as required.
* Establishes and maintains budgets to maintain systems (licences, change requests, interfaces, recharges).
* Responsible for ensuring IT quality systems are effectively integrated with other business processes/systems.
* Develops stakeholder relationships, provides updates on projects and delivers timely responses to questions raised.
* Ensures contracts are agreed between suppliers and Twinings for each system.
* Develops a framework for seamless budgeting.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* University degree in Food Technology/Food Science or related field.
* At least 5 years of FMCG industry experience.
* Experience of working cross functionally.
* Project management experience.
* Systems experience in implementing, using and improving applications (ie. product data management, LIMS) would be an advantage.
* Experience with Sample Management System/GDSN knowledge would be an asset.
