Make a Meaningful Impact as a Support Worker!
Are you ready to enhance your career? Tired of unrealistic schedules that leave you with little time for the people who draw on our support? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
Join MacIntyre as a part-time Support Worker, working 25-30 hours per week, or step into a full-time role with 37.5 hours per week. You’ll build lasting relationships with the same amazing people, making a real difference in their lives. We also welcome relief workers who want to join us on an as-needed basis!
Meet the Team You’ll Support:
Richard is 50 and loves taking scenic drives and enjoying peaceful short walks. He prefers quiet places, and with your support, he’ll get to visit the sensory centre and his favourite McDonald’s. Plus, he enjoys singing and listening to music!
Simon is a tech enthusiast who enjoys music and his PlayStation. He loves social outings like bowling and pub nights, appreciating the space to explore. The outdoors bring him joy, and he participates in MacIntyre’s New Roots program.
Paul is passionate about cooking and baking with his support team. He communicates using Makaton and is skilled at lip-reading due to his hearing impairment. Paul also loves arts and crafts and has a special fondness for dogs.
Could you support them in living their best lives?
If you’re ready to take on a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference, whether as a permanent staff member or a relief worker, we’d love to hear from you!
