POSITION SCOPE
This position will focus on the checking, receiving & putting away goods & materials from vendors and the accurate management of their storage & movements at Thames Refinery. The successful candidate will have experience in using internal inventory systems such as SAP and IT skills for data input. The role will have a mixture of administration and warehouse duties.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receiving, inspecting and putting away in the correct locations goods delivered by vendors (MRO & Materials).
2. SAP System entry of good receipts, goods issues and stock transfers.
3. Physical inventory counting & stocktakes as required, investigating and reporting any differences.
4. Ensuring that both receiving and loading of goods to and from the site are completed in a timely and efficient manner ensuring inventory accuracy.
5. Optimising the weekly delivery schedule with the Materials management team for the most efficient use of loading & unloading vehicles.
6. Ensuring all required paperwork is received and completed for all goods received on site.
7. Working with the Packing Area Managers to ensure correct storage and control of products and liaising with the quality department to ensure an immediate resolution of any quality issues.
8. Performing timely inbound quality checks against supplier specification parameters for materials.
9. Ensuring traceability of inbound materials is legible and in accordance to specification.
10. Ensuring all non-conforming materials are quarantined, controlled and communicated appropriately within the business.
11. Good numeric and English literacy skills - essential.
12. Computer literacy and the ability to handle data quickly and accurately. Experience with internal inventory systems (SAP, Windows and Microsoft Office) - essential.
13. Good interpersonal and communication skills - essential.
14. Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise workload, and multi-task - essential.
15. Drivers license - preferred.
16. Fork Lift Truck License - preferred.
