Project Engineering:
* The incumbent will be responsible for delivering assigned projects and supporting the delivery of projects encompassing, but not limited to, the following:
o Administration of assigned project files o Liaison with subcontractors o Preparation of calculations, work procedures and risk assessments o Work to recognised quality standards o Development and management of project schedules o Completion of purchase requisitions o Arrange equipment dispatch and transportation o Completion of close out reports and technical documentation o Develop financial control appreciation of assigned projects
* Receive guidance from experienced engineers to deliver administration and technical support within the department.
* The incumbent must adopt a co-operative attitude towards being assigned alternative or additional duties to that which they are primarily employed.
HSEQ Responsibilities
* It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with, and follows the Company's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System and takes an active part in the compliance and improvement of the Management Systems.
* The incumbent must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems according to the Management System processes/procedures.
* The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health, safety and/or environmental legislation to follow these.
* The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
Qualifications & Experience HND, BSc or BEng (Hons) within a relevant discipline, or time served with hands on experience, within a relevant trade.
* Excellent communication skills to enable effective liaison with clients, vendors and other members of staff.
* Effective in dealing with commercial and management aspects of the role
* Careful and meticulous professional and a motivated self-starter
* Good technical writing skills, and proficient use of MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel etc).
