Job title: Operations Executive (12-month FTC)

Location: 5th Floor, HYLO, 105 Bunhill Row, London, EC1Y 8LZ
Working pattern: Hybrid- minimum of two days per week in the office; up to three days per week working from home

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
General Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented operations executive to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations during a period of transition to a new distributor. This role is critical in maintaining efficient processes across inventory management, Amazon operations, and general operational support. The ideal candidate will bring experience in sales operations or inventory operations, with a flexible approach and strong problem-solving skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the publishing industry and contribute to a key phase of strategic change.
Key responsibilities
1. Support Amazon operational tasks, including maintaining stock availability, listings, and issue resolution.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows across inventory and operational processes.
3. Ensure data accuracy in inventory systems and support reporting requirements.
4. Contribute to the development of operational efficiencies and best practices.
5. Support on administrative tasks for wider operations team.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Proven experience in an operations or inventory-focused role.
2. Knowledge of warehouse or logistics processes is desirable, but not essential.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level), including data analysis tools, formulas, and pivot tables.
4. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate across multiple teams.
