COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT - INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35
One of Lorien's Dundee-based public sector clients is looking for a strong Communications Assistant to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
To work with the Communications Managers and Communications Officers to carry out a range of communications, marketing, and digital engagement tasks which support the organisation's Communications and Policy Department.
This includes:
* Social media management
* Content creation across all platforms
* Internal and external email newsletters
* Updating the website and intranet information materials.
Essential Skills:
* Demonstrable experience in a communications, marketing, or information assistant role.
* Experience using social media.
* Experience writing and proofreading copy for online newsletters, leaflets, etc.
* Ability to operate within a busy environment.
* Experience handling confidential information.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to analyse results/insights.
* Concise and clear oral and written communication skills.
* Effective organisational skills and time management.
* Ability to set and prioritise own workload.
* Effective administrative skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
