Job Advert
We are currently embarking on engagement with young people, families and the workforce in 2024-2025, on behalf of the Falkirk Children and Young People’s Mental Health Group. We are finding out about the best ways for children, young people and their parents/carers to get help if they need it. When we have engaged with young people and parents/carers before, they told us it was difficult to understand the ways to request support for different services and to know what service might provide the help they needed. We have decided to find out whether a ‘single point of access’ might work better. This would mean that whatever help was being requested for children, young people and parents/carers, this would be requested in the same way through one system (rather than different ways to make requests for help depending on the support or service needed).
The engagement work will be carried out between November 2024 and March 2025. No decisions will be made until this engagement work has been completed. The project officer role would help finalise engagement activities and pull together analysis of the results. They will then help to shape the next steps in moving towards a single point system. This may include looking into IT systems to support, further engagement activity as required and collaborating with partners to design the systems and processes that are required for implementation.
This post is temporary until November 2025 due to service requirement.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
