Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. Set within acres of beautiful land, the nursery offers a large outdoor play area, providing endless opportunities for adventure and exploration. The setting provides a cosy and homely environment, with light, spacious rooms and two outdoor areas, designed to encourage curiosity and a love for learning.
As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education. Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will support the daily operations of the nursery, mentor staff, and create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
* Proven senior experience in a nursery or early years setting is required.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and OFSTED standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative in a leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS and OFSTED regulations.
* Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development.
* Ensure the safety, well-being, and individual development of all children.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their learning journey.
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
* Assist in recruitment, staff training, and performance management.
