Location: Scunthorpe, NorthLincolnshire
Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare is looking for a newChief Executive with the professionalism, vision, credibility, commitment,resilience and leadership qualities to ensure that the charity continues todeliver the highest level of quality care for the community of NorthLincolnshire and East Riding.
The successful candidate will be a compassionate, solutionsfocussed and visionary leader with proven experience at seniormanagement/executive level gained within a healthcare environment. Anaccomplished communicator they will have instant credibility when engaging withboth internal and external stakeholders coupled with the ability to work with adiverse range of stakeholders, creating partnerships and encouraging increasedcollaboration.

Experience of effectively managing resources andbudgets, as well as experience of delivering long-term financial sustainabilityand value for money

At Lindsey Lodge Hospice, we provide specialistpalliative care to local people and families living with life limitingillnesses and have been central to specialist End of Life care provision to ourcommunity for over 30 years.
Care is not only for those in the last months or days of life but aimedto help those from diagnosis of a life limiting condition to live well and havea good quality of life in the community, managing symptoms of diseaseprogression. Families and carers are integral to the care, and our model aimsto understand needs and support appropriately, particularly with pre- andpost-bereavement support.
We work closely with the NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated CareBoard, primary and secondary care and social care colleagues and theCollaborative of six independent hospitals covering the regional ICB.
We work in a changing and challenging operating environment, but throughour expert and highly committed team, and an openness to development andcollaboration, we are very well placed to continue our track record of growthand development. Our CE will lead this work, providing dynamic, high-levelstrategic and operational leadership and management with an emphasis onensuring the highest standards of specialist palliative and end of life care atthe heart of all activities.

6. Educated to degree level with a post graduate level and/or professional qualification in a relevant subject (business, management or clinical discipline) or relevant and appropriate experience of operating at this level in a similar organisation.
7. Experience of continuing, relevant professional and personal development particularly with regard to management or leadership.
