We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Cranbrook (HOSM) Community Rehab Team in a full-time substantive post (37.5 hours a week).

Job responsibilities
You will be based at Honiton Hospital, which is located in a beautiful part of rural East Devon. Our catchment area includes Ottery St Mary and Cranbrook and is part of the wider HOSM-SAS Cluster covering Sidmouth, Axminster, and Seaton. We are within easy reach of the University city of Exeter, the M5, Exeter St Davids train station, and Exeter Airport, offering excellent transport links.
In HOSM we are passionate about providing excellent patient care by the right person, in the right place and at the right time through communication and integration. You will work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, a Rehab Nurse, and Rehab Support Workers. We are looking for someone with an interest in working in the community who has a passion for rehabilitation and facilitating people to maximise their participation in valued activities of daily living. You will be able to work flexibly, prioritise workloads in response to changing demands, be patient-centred, and enjoy team working.
The role will involve undertaking comprehensive assessments and interventions supporting adults of all ages through promoting independence, healthy living, rehabilitation, and prevention within their own homes and in care homes. Interventions are provided on a 1:1 basis and also through therapeutic group programmes including our Strength and Balance exercise group and our Neuro Active group.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive community therapy service that works in partnership with our health and social care colleagues. We are committed to maximising the potential of our staff and you will be well supported and encouraged to continuously develop your knowledge and skills to meet the needs of yourself and the service.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Our standard working hours for this role are 8:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday but you will also be required to work with the Urgent Community Response Team to support with delivery of the Ageing Well rota, working shifts over seven days a week and between the hours of 08:00 to 20:00 on a rota basis.
