Powered access engineer required. Our client is an established provider of powered access across the country and is requiring an engineer to service and maintain powered access equipment. It would be desirable for the engineer to have CAP qualification but not essential. Our client is looking for an engineer that would be happy with either working in their workshop based in Essex and to be mobile when required.
Driving licence required for this role.
Powered Access Engineer Position Overview
1. Maintenance and servicing cherry pickers, scissors lifts, forklifts and other powered access equipment including some vehicle mounted MEWPS.
2. This role is both workshop and mobile based with nationwide cover but there would be no staying away required for this role.
3. Keeping service and maintenance records up to date.
4. Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop and on site.
5. Coordinate repairs and maintenance work.
Powered Access Engineer Position Requirements
1. Experience and knowledge in a similar role would be beneficial.
2. The ideal candidate will have experience within the access, crane, forklift or motor industry along with a mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background.
3. It would be a benefit if the candidate was CAP trained or equivalent in order to carry out six monthly inspections but this isn't essential.
4. IPAF CAP training desirable but not essential.
5. UK driving licence essential.
6. Willing to travel for the role.
Powered Access Engineer Position Remuneration
£40,000-£50,000 Salary
Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
Overtime available
