Job summary
Darlington GP Aligned Nurses work closely with the GP practice staff, their TEWV colleagues, other agencies and will be working especially close with the new Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) Workers.
The post holder will be an experienced mental health nurse, responsible for short-term treatment of patients referred to you in GP setting. Ideally you will have skills in delivery of the front end interventions to aid patients stay within a primary care setting.
This post is only open to those candidates who already have their NMC registration in place and have successfully completed 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship.
Main duties of the job
We have exciting opportunities for experienced Mental Health Nurses to join the team working within Darlington primary care network.
Supervision, training and personal development are a key aspect of the post, along with regular supervision/appraisal which we see as an important aspect to the role.

1. Current professional registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council. RMNH/RNLD
2. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
3. Recognised Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor, clinical educator or equivalent. Must be achieved within 6 months
4. Trained in Clinical Supervision and providing clinical supervision OR willingness to work towards within 6 months
