Job Title: Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist (Bladder and Bowel) Location: Preston Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week) Start Date: ASAP - 31/10/2024 (with possible extension) About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at Ribbleton Clinic in Preston. The successful candidate will specialize in bladder and bowel physiotherapy, providing high-quality care and intervention for patients referred for assessment and treatment. This role is crucial in supporting the Continence Service and improving patient outcomes. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £27 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Provide specialized physiotherapy interventions, including pelvic floor exercises and bladder retraining. Educate patients and their families on management strategies for bladder and bowel conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives. Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and students. Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy: HCPC registration Right to work in the UK Proven experience in Women’s Health or pelvic floor physiotherapy. Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to continuous professional development. Desirable Skills and Attributes: Experience in a similar role within the NHS. Knowledge of current best practices in continence care.
