Position: Night Manager Location: Oxford Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Night Shift (including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays) Salary between £30,000 - £35,000 About the Role: We are seeking an exceptional Night Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our hotel during the night shift while maintaining the highest guest service standards. As the key point of contact for both guests and team members, you will lead by example, handling challenges with diplomacy and providing a safe, welcoming, and memorable guest experience. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all night shift operations, including guest relations, housekeeping, food and beverage, security, and maintenance. • Foster effective communication within the team to promote collaboration and a positive work environment. • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through proactive service and problem resolution. • Conduct regular inspections, monitor security systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards. • Handle emergencies or incidents professionally, implementing procedures as required. • Support reservation duties via email, telephone, or other channels. • Ensure smooth shift transitions and prepare detailed operational reports. What We’re Looking For: • Previous experience in hotel management, with a focus on night operations. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service abilities. • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures. • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for exceeding expectations. • Flexibility to work a rota’d schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
