Accounts Assistant

Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Cooper Lomaz are currently working with a growing team who are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant / technician for a practice with an office based near St Ives. We are seeking a part or fully qualified AAT, or qualified by experience candidate who is looking for an opportunity to grow and develop within a team that offer support and progression.
On a day-to-day basis you will be required to prepare financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as completing the corporation tax returns. You will have responsibility for completion of personal tax returns for directors, sole traders and rental accounts, whilst also preparing VAT returns and management accounts. You will be required to work daily with Excel and IT packages such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks.
Applicants shall have strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team where you are self-motivated and driven. Previous experience in a practice environment is preferred but not essential.
