Location:Action Mental Health, Central Office, Newtownards
Salary: £25,865-£27,847 (Under Review)
Hours: 35 per week - Monday to Thursday 9.00am-5.00pm, Friday 9.00am-4.00pm. (The post holder will occasionally be required to work evenings and at weekends to meet the requirements of the role)
The Role:
The overall purpose of the post is to deliver a year round programme of communications and content to:
* Help raise the profile of Action Mental Health and our core services
* Support Action Mental Health’s fundraising & events
* Support and develop Action Mental Health’s online and offline marketing materials and platforms
* Raise awareness of mental health amongst key audiences
* Support Action Mental Health’s campaigning and lobbying work
You will have (essential):
* RQF level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Experience in working in a Communications, Marketing or Content development role
* Proven writing skills for a variety of media and diverse audiences
* Ability to use IT including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
* Ability to use the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar package
* Experience in developing and producing multimedia content
* Experience in the use of WordPress or similar content management systems.
* Experience of working on events
* Experience in delivering on publicity strategies & campaigns
* A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence
