Insurance Customer Advisor - Full Time

NFU Mutual, a leading general insurer and financial services company, has a fantastic reputation for serving the local community. Within our business, we deliver NFU Mutual's award-winning service and support individual and business clients in the surrounding areas.
Working from our office in Elland, as part of our Customer Service team, you will play a key role in the success of managing and expanding local business by ensuring our customers receive a first-class service, working with our friendly and supportive team.
This role will see you handling a wide range of commercial and personal policies, including policy changes, undertaking renewal reviews, fulfilling new business quotations, and providing customers with necessary service and advice. The role will be challenging and varied - if you are looking for an opportunity to develop and grow, we would love to hear from you.
We will provide full training necessary for the role and there will be the potential for hybrid working, once trained, and depending on business needs. The role is full time, 9 - 5, Monday - Friday.
The successful candidate must:
1. Have previous experience of providing customer service
2. Have an exceptional standard of written and verbal English
3. Be detail-orientated, exceptionally organised and deadline driven
4. Be able to build and retain long term relationships with our customers
5. Be driven to meet and exceed expectations
6. Be prompt, reliable and trustworthy
7. Be proactive and able to work under pressure to deliver results
8. Be competent with Microsoft Office Suite, and able to adapt to company systems
Preferred background:
1. Previous experience in the insurance industry and/or
2. Previous experience in a sales role
Qualifications:
1. Minimum - Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
2. Desired - A levels &/or degree (or equivalent)
