Role Description
Brand Marketing Manager (Seafood)
Liverpool
Refine and execute the long-term strategic brand plan for Princes Seafood range.
Deliver brand growth by strengthening brand equity, attracting new consumers, driving more usage occasions and developing an appropriate innovation pipeline.
Be central gate-keeper for all brand communications and activation, ensuring consistency and quality of message.
Support the delivery of broader Princes brand initiatives.
Dimensions:
Strategic Planning:
1. Use data and insight to continuously evolve the core consumer question for Princes Seafood. Refine target audience, proposition and RTB where appropriate through testing and validation.
2. Ensure the strategic plan is aligned to deliver targeted brand share, brand health and financial targets as per agreed budget.
3. Ensure plans are clearly shared with key internal stakeholders within the Planning schedule.
4. Support the Brand Strategic Planning Process aligned to the overarching Group Business Plan process.
Brand:
1. Support the development of and act as an ambassador to the brand guardrails for internal (inc. Brand Activation) and external stakeholders to work within.
2. Oversee brand calendar of activities.
3. Lead and coordinate media campaigns and content.
4. Participate in planning of internal and external brand events, bringing the brand to life for our customers.
5. Influence the development of consumer and shopper research required and keep informed with latest trends.
6. Manage allocated brand spend.
7. Monitor key metrics and brand health.
Product Development:
1. Direct brand innovation pipeline.
2. Lead branded NPD and EPD product requirements.
3. Support Innov8 with brand expertise and future brand stretch potential.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Ensure internal and external stakeholders are appropriately engaged and aligned with the brand's Core Consumer Question, compelling Brand Proposition and RTB.
2. Manage and execute Brand Plans ensuring timely internal and customer engagement within appropriate forums.
3. Understand key profit drivers and factor these into strategic brand plans.
4. Understand and act on trends.
5. Drive brand share performance in line with agreed budget.
6. Manage relevant marketing agency relationships and briefs, developing plans that deliver best ROI for Princes.
Role Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. The job holder will have strong experience across brand marketing with proven success of developing and growing brands.
2. A proven team leader and collaborator.
3. Must be a strong communicator and influencer.
