Senior Pensions Administrators In-House Scheme, multiple roles

You will be responsible for supporting the Administration team in delivering administration cases and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Completing calculations and managing correspondence for members ensuring that they are completed within this in-house schemes high service level targets.
2. Completing calculations and managing correspondence for high earners including legislative controls for protection.
3. Completing QA checks on colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective.
4. Updating and reconciling worklists to ensure compliance.
5. Reviewing transfer cases ensuring compliance with regulations.
6. Responding to email correspondence and management of team email inboxes.
7. Assisting auditors with any queries they may have during the annual audit.
8. Completing and reviewing complex member calculations ensuring all calculation SLA's are maintained.
9. Reviewing complaint/Historic pension transfer cases.
10. Authorisation of daily payments.
11. Supporting all processes to maintain compliance and minimise escalations and complaints.
12. Providing support and testing for cyclic projects and key projects.
You will need:
1. Experience within DB Pension Scheme administration.
2. Experience either in-house or Third Party.
3. Administration experience of technical benefit calculations.
4. Up to date knowledge of UK Pensions legislation.
5. Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
6. Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
7. A strong team work ethic and willingness to help.
8. To be highly motivated and keen to learn.
9. To be highly numerate and analytical.
10. UK Pension Scheme knowledge.
11. Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access) to improve processes and drive efficiency.
Finally, hopefully you will be keen to study or continue studying and enjoy doing this because you will be supported and at the same time when appropriate also help support others in your department at a more junior level in their study and completing PMI exams.
